A LESSON FROM BHOPAL GAS TRAGEDY AND MANGALORE ACCIDENT

Looking at the Bhopal gas tragedy and Mangalore accident it seems that we are not sensitive of human life.It was not that the govt. was not aware of the poor condition of the factory from which leakage of the murderous gas took place. But as usual warnings were not taken heed of and the nation had to suffer from such worse catastrophe. And now,in the aftermath of the tragedy it is disheartening that the sufferers still are devoid of adequate help from the govt. side.Similarly in the backdrop of Mangalore accident there has been such instances in whcich AAI was using incorrect friction testing tyre(see THE HINDU magazine of 4 july). The most important lesson we can learn from such happening is to value the human life and humanity. As in words of Einstein

Try not to be a man of success rather try to be man of values.
